Focussing on treescapes and the many forms and colours that trees take in the landscape, my work has been inspired by treescapes both here and abroad. I have been working on prepared surfaces using mixed media, acrylics and oil paints, collage on card, board and canvas. I intend to continue with the landscape in my work ultimately looking for more abstract forms of illustration.
Biography
Previously professionally employed I am now a full-time artist and painter based in Edinburgh enjoying landscape sketching and painting which I intend to continue. My ambition is to exhibit more widely in the future, working on larger pieces and outdoors.
