An ideal introduction to making bangles out of silver, students will be guided through the process of designing and making their own bangle.
The day will begin with a demonstration of how to make a basic bangle. Students will practice this technique in brass, before moving on to complete their own bangle in silver using sawing, filing, soldering and texturing methods. Different textures and finishes can be applied to allow each student to create a unique, individually designed piece of jewellery. This workshop is a great way for beginners to learn the basic techniques of jewellery-making.
