A workshop aimed at beginners and those starting out with oil paint; we will look at a variety of ways of making colours, learning step-by-step how to mix and apply paint.
Students will learn how to set up a palette, apply paint, mix colour, and explore colour relationships in their work. Putting into practice what you’ve learnt through practical demonstrations, we will work from a still life whilst focussing on colour mixing. This is an ideal course for anyone hoping to gain a better understanding of colour theory, confidence handling oil paint and making colour decisions.
