Rachael is a tutor with the Short Courses.
Rachael studied on Leith School of Art's Foundation Course before graduating in Fine Art at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, Dundee. She completed her training at Turps Banana Art School, London. Rachael's paintings explore idea's of social narritaves, the female form and power structures. The act of painting is intrinsic to her practise as an artist, drawing inspiration from the physical process of painting, responding firstly to the medium itself. Rachael's paintings have been exhibited at National Galleries of Scotland, Edinburgh, Kelvingrove Museum, Glasgow, Nomas Projects, Dundee and Sluice Biennial, London. She has undertaken residences in Venice and Norway.
