This film was inspired by thinking about routines and rituals and how they can be
changed. I decided to film the process of preparing and consuming a meal, in the
context of a dinner party. The film follows the gradual breakdown of etiquette and a disregard for the effort put into the cooking process. I wanted to examine how it
makes an audience feel when their expectations are not fulfilled.
