This work explores degradation and growth, focusing on the effect that the passage of time has on these two factors. I am interested in the contrast of the growing and the falling apart of natural forms and objects, and finding relationships in the way things change together. I used acrylic paint on canvas to create this work.
Biography
I am originally from Perth, Scotland. I moved to Leith to join the foundation course after finishing High School. This course helped me to realise my love for painting. Most of my work is inspired by nature, natural forms and imagery. The ideas surrounding these influence the way that I paint and draw. Next year I will be continuing my studies of art and design at a higher level.
