‘Perspective’
For this piece of work I was interested in challenging perspective. The viewer can move around the piece and find their own angle of the painting. I used simplified colours and shapes as I found the contrast between 2D and 3D interesting.
Biography
I’m Christie, I enjoy painting as well as working with wood. I have always been interested in painting, however this past year I have stepped out my comfort zone and pushed my work in a different direction by creating more abstract pieces. Next year I’m going to study fine art at Robert Gordon university in Aberdeen.
