An ideal introduction to drawing a life model, this workshop is specially designed for beginners and those looking to build their confidence.
The day will begin with quick drawings focusing on looking closely, drawing only what we see. A range of exercises will help us loosen up and approach drawing and mark making in a variety of ways. Students will learn about line, proportion, tonal values and gestural drawing. In the afternoon, we will make a more sustained drawing, pulling together what has been learnt throughout the day.
