The School is delighted to announce that we have successfully acquired 66 Albion Road as an addition to our existing school premises.

This grade B listed building was formally used as a printing works and offers spacious accommodation with beautiful light perfect for teaching and studio practice.  By way of a rather lovely symmetry the owners printed the original prospectus material for Mark and Lottie Cheverton in the early days of the School!

This exciting new campus will open in September 2024. On Mondays to Thursdays the site will provide an ideal home for our Foundation Course. The new campus provides an impressively large studio facility of approximately 3,000 Sq. Ft. with excellent light from two sides and additional natural top light.  There is also a large wood panelled ‘Board Room’ which will be used as an administrative, seminar and lecture space.

Albion Road is located off Easter Road near Leith and has excellent transport links. The site has free on street parking and is just a 20-25 minute walk from Princes Street or 20 minutes by regular bus services from the Centre of Edinburgh.

This exciting development also enables us to expand our programming of new courses from academic year 2024-25 and we will continue to provide updates with news as we progress towards opening the studios in September. We will also be arranging an event to celebrate the opening of the new campus later this year so watch this space!
