Alexa Hare is an artist and art educator based in Edinburgh. She holds an MFA in Intermedia from Edinburgh College of Art and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Specialist Subject Art) from The University of Buckingham. Throughout her career, Alexa has imparted her knowledge and skills in art teaching across a variety of schools and organisations in Edinburgh, including Fettes College and Cargilfield School, where she served as Head of Art.
Currently, Alexa works as a freelance workshop leader, collaborating with esteemed institutions such as Artlink and The National Galleries. Her artistic practice has been showcased extensively across Europe, with notable solo and collaborative exhibitions. Highlights include "Nemoralia," commissioned by Jupiter Artland in 2016, "Art Monster" at Curfew Gallery in 2018, and her participation in "Generations: 25 Years of Contemporary Art in Scotland" in 2014.
