Tom joined the Board around 1991, just after the School's founders, Lottie and Mark Cheverton had died. As Lottie’s brother, Tom brought a family input, along with Susie Reade. Since then he has continued to provide this and to contribute his professional experience from his farming business and of charitable organisations. As the longest serving board member, Tom feels a responsibility to maintain a sense of what the School is about and what it should be trying to achieve, and to build on and develop the founders’ aims.
