Robert is a member of ICAS (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland) and served as a Council member between 2009 and 2015. He has experience in businesses of varying sizes, primarily housebuilding and commercial property. He has been a trustee of two charities and has had a number of other voluntary roles, including mentoring in the business and third sectors. He has a longstanding interest in art, and family connections in art and education.
